Hi - I’m Jon Henshaw and at 7 years old I knew that I wanted to draw for a living. I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida with a degree in Illustration. After many years of working for other studios, I started Toonalooney Studios in 2009. My passion is character animation for cartoons and tv shows, but my career has led me to a lot of other outlets needing animation including web series, online academies, animated explainer videos, internal corporate videos, promotional videos and many other types of animated video for any screen size.

Even though Toonalooney Studios is a one man shop, no project is too big or too small. For larger projects, I can call upon other freelance animators, designers, and voice over actors to help out as a full-service team, no matter the artists location. Working together remotely, allows us to use technology to be as efficient as possible, while working with the best talent.

I live in Marietta, Georgia which is a suburb of Atlanta with my wife and 2 kids - who I’m proud to say love drawing as well.
